The Fullarton (formerly Lochside Theatre) is an Independent Cinema and occasional Theatre presenting in-house productions. We no longer receive visiting productions or performances.
Situated in the heart of south-west Scotland, The Fullarton is managed and staffed entirely by part-time volunteers.
The Fullarton Theatre is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), registered number SC006525. Its principal address is The Fullarton, Lochside Road, Castle Douglas, DG7 1EU.
The Auditorium
The 166 seat auditorium is a tiered format providing a clear view of the stage or screen from all seats apart from the back row (Row R). The view from this row is slightly restricted by those seated in the row in front.
There are four wheel chair spaces in the front row (Row A).
The Auditorium was refurbished with new seating, carpet and decoration in 2012. The theatre was pleased to receive funding from the following sources and would like to express grateful thanks to the various bodies, without whose generosity the Auditorium refurbishment in 2012 would not have proceeded.
